2018 SUMMER P-M FACULTY EXPERIENCE

Pre-Professional Intensive -Taught Movement for Actors, Improvisation, and Ballet. 

​

Young Artist Intensive - Taught Modern and Ballet and choreographed for the Evening of Dance, Shinrin-Yoku (a revision from SUNY Potsdam's Spring 2018 Faculty Dance Concert and a topic of discussion in my 2019 TEDx presentation).

2017 SUMMER P-M FACULTY EXPERIENCE

Pre-Professional Intensive - Taught Composition and Ballet. Choreographed two works Folklore and Ragtime in collaboration the Strings Music Festival, bringing to the summers in Steamboat Springs, Colorado innovative programs of distinctive classical and popular contemporary music and a summer festival.

Young Artist Intensive - Taught Modern and Ballet. Choreographed O'West: A Tribute to Agnes De Mille's Rodeo (1942) where she found her inspiration at P-M and at the Carpenter Range (near P-M) in the mid-to-late 1930's

P-M COLLEGE INTENSIVE AUDITIONS & FUNDING FOR SUNY POTSDAM STUDENTS

2019 P-M SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE & SUNY DANCE STUDENTS

In summary, two of our SUNY dance students were accepted into the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp College Professional Intensive in June 2019, Brooklyn Collier ($500 P-M scholarship) and Julia Schwartz ($250 P-M scholarship). Donors from the P-M community and the SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance also contributed an additional $1,000 each for tuition and travel for Brooklyn and Julia. They joined twenty other exceptionally talented dancers from across the United States to study in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and with amazingly talented artist. SEE MORE

2018 P-M SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE & SUNY DANCE STUDENTS

Thirty-five of our SUNY dance students attended the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp College Professional Intensive audition on April 12th, and three students, Sarah Olsen ($250 scholarship), Caitlyn Lane, and Genevieve Oritz ($250 scholarship) were accepted. They joined twenty-one other exceptionally talented dancers from across the United States to study in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and study with amazing artists. SEE MORE
