IMPROVISATIONAL DANCE WORKSHOP AT THE PLACE, LONDON SEE MORE
JUNE 2019, THE PLACE, LONDON
The movement of "Last Stop" was Influenced by urban movement forms and creative research abroad while attending a dance improvisation intensive with Ricardo Buscarini, award-winning Italian Choreographer at The Place in London. Ricardo's philosophy on movement is that it is driven by a passion for sculpture & architecture, starting from the assumption that our movement can carve the space and leave a trace behind.

"Dance has been a very intense companion in my life. It makes you face your flaws and weaknesses every day. It can be harsh, but I always interpret it as a path of research and discovery of your own resources." –Ricardo Buscarini

MEDIA DANCE WORKSHOP AT THE PLACE, LONDON
JUNE 2019, THE PLACE, LONDON
At The Place, I also attended a media dance intensive, Dance on Screen with writer/director Georgia Parris, producer Emma Duffy, choreographer Maxine Doyle, and dancer Bobbi Jene Smith, who discussed media dance topics as well as their featured film MARI (view trailer). The workshop opened my eyes to the perspective possibilities and thought-provoking role that film can play in dance.
